It's been a while....
Well work was kind of busy and i've been in such a bad mood for the last two weeks that left me with no mood for LJ.Well that has past for now and i am gonna try to be more active and comment more.
Also i am still working on the second part of the request ..i hope i'll have them done in 3 or 4 days the most, but will see about that XD.

Oh and i almost forgot ....after a long wait i sow Moon a few days ago and it blow me away, it was even better than i expected!If you have the chance you should rent it, download it, go see it or whatever... amazing story,amazing directing,brilliant performance by Sam Rockwell and the soundtrack by Clint Mansell ..you can't get better than this :D

I just watched episode 3 of V. This is it, this is the episode that seals the deal!I loved the first two episodes, but this is the one i enjoyed 100% and it made me realize how epic this show can become!! Really this epi was FREAKING AWESOME!!

Friday (well that when i can download them) is getting crowded with good shows!!! Fringe, Supernatural and now Flashforward!!

Flashforward is growing on me!Fast!! The pilot didn't do much for me but, the finale kept me interested to check it out the next week. I think one of the things that put me off about the pilot was that they where trying too hard....trying to hard to be the next Lost ...I just think if the show does his thing and tries less, will do just fine ..cause the next two epis proved that.I just hope it gets better and better from now on.

Fringe oh Fringe i just can't help it ..but the whole hybrid army, or whatever made again think of the X-file. I know you are different but in so many ways so similar...and i think i love you for that. XD

First a big big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to darknumb i am such a bad friend i keep missing birthdays over and over again ....hugs sweetie and all the best wishes in world ^^

So someone at the likethegun_lims asked me if they can nominate one of my icons at super_awards and i thought i should check the community out and, surprise surprise, i even won some awards there..lolololol...witch is awesome, really..but it would have been more awesome it people would have told me about it XD
Anyway i have this thing on my mind for a few days about making an icon/graphic community, blame the free time.The thing is that i would like to share it with some other awesome icon maker. Everyone i know has already a community ...so i don't know, i am still pondering about it.

Oh and Vero (vordogh )i gave up on fighting it and started to watch Glee...the show is so much love ..it makes me so happy and fills me with positivity ..heeee

Guess who's back ?!!!....yes yes i was gone again on a little trip to Prague, witch was so gorgeous and overwhelming at the same time, but now i am back for good and not going anywhere for a while.One of the good parts with all this traveling is that i didn't had the time to stress about not finding a job, cause if i've stayed home all this time i would have gone mental !!! Meanwhile i filling my free time helping my dad doing sketches in AutoCad and transferring old data and also i am trying to work on my portfolio....hee trying to keep busy XD.

OMG this week Fringe and Merlin are back!! i am so excited!! i can't believe summer is over!

..also as a personal note i need to make more SPN icons ..i really do!!! would you guys link me with some awesome caps? ^^

Finally i finished this !!!!!!!!!!!
How to go from this -> to this ->

So for this icon i left the coloring and the reconstruction of the background out cause well that would have been a all other tutorial (but if you want to see how i work with smudge tool i have a few steps here TUTORIAL 1) and it would take for ever to finish this.
I am gonna warn you in advance that i am not great at explaining things but i'll do my best.

We gonna start with this .

1.Next we gonna add a new layer where we gonna drag THIS candy sky texture (credit to who ever made it ) and we gonna position it just above the mountain cause i don't want the purple on the faces of Mulder and Scully. The icon should look something like this ->

2.Go to Layer->New Adjustment Layer -> Curves
RGB: Point 1 - output: 0 input: 9
Point 2 - output:130 input:126
Then with the current layer selected we gonna add a layer mask. We gonna use the chalk brush (size 8 opacity 100%) over the figures of Mulder and Scully . I want the curves layer to be applied only to the background so that is why i am using a mask. Also make sure the brush color is black( black adds mask and with white you can erase the mask). The mask and layer should look like THIS.

3.Go to Layer->New Adjustment Layer -> Selective Color
Reds: -100 0 0 0
Whites: 0 +100 +10 0
Black: 0 0 0 +10
Again we gonna add a layer mask, same as we did on step. 2 and the icon should look like this -

4.Go to Layer->New Adjustment Layer -> Selective Color
Black: 0 0 0 +10

5.Go to Layer->New Adjustment Layer -> Levels: 5 1.03 254

6. Next add a new layer in witch we gonna drag this TEXTURE by lemonpunch . Set the layer to soft light and erase the parts of the texture that cover Mulder and Scully.You should get this result -

7.Duplicate the texture layer and you gonna get this -> .

8.This step isn't really necessary, but i usually like to do this so i don't need to flatten the image i got so far. So new layer and Alt+Shift+Ctrl+e and i gonna get a stamp copy of what i did till now.

9.Next we gonna drag a PAPER TEXTURE by Sanamy276 and set it to color burn. The icon will like this ->

10.We gonna add a new layer and with a chalk brush, size 14 we gonna add stripes on the edge of the icon like THIS. Then we gonna go to Filter->Blur-> Gaussian Blur ->Radius: 6.6 and you gonna get this ->

11. Again we gonna drag a TEXTURE,this time by radiospeaking , and set it to screen. The texture is gonna be positioned something like THIS, cause i want the light to come over Mulder's shoulder. At this point the icon will look like this ->

12. And on the final step we gonna add a new layer filled with #e4e5e5, set it to color burn and the opacity at 70%
and that is it.

I added the PSD file for a better understanding. Anyway i would love to have some feedback and feel free to ask if some step weren't that clear ... Should i quit making tutorials ?? XD

Hey there everyone, i am still alive just been away a lot in the past days.
Anyway the reason for this post is to let you know i am making a friends cut...lets face it with some of you i have no commune interest and others haven't updated in ages.Hope you won't take this personal, cause it isn't, but i felt this was necessary.
